As a wedding photographer in Houston, I love taking advantage of studios available such as The Oak Atelier. I was elated when Emily decided on this beautiful location for her bridal session! This stunning venue along with the bride’s romantic dress brought this bridal session to life!

Lace & Grace
This dreamy session was filled with both! I’m not sure how many times I told Emily that she looks like a real-life barbie doll.. especially with her bright, blue eyes! Let’s also take a second to admire her hair, makeup, and bouquet that she did herself… WOW. I truly felt like I was photographing a princess; in fact, we had a sweet, little bunny appear just outside of the window during our session. This very well could have been the set of the next Disney princess movie!

One of my favorite parts of Emily’s Essense of Australia dress from Brickhouse Bridal is the lace sleeves. As a wedding photographer in Texas, most of my brides do not have sleeves on their dress(es) due to the typically warm (more like extremely hot) temperatures. However, not all sleeves are the same! With the unique lace design, it allows for airflow and adds to the romantic style that Emily was going for. If you are considering sleeves but are concerned about the weather, don’t cross it off just yet! Try a few on and see how it feels; you may be pleasantly surprised!
