Houston Wedding Photographer | To be completely honest, I am speechless as to how to express what an incredible day McKensie and Cameron’s wedding was! From getting ready, to the ceremony, and finally to the reception.. The day was filled with family sentiments and beautiful details all throughout!

The sweetest group of ladies (and one special pup named Drago) encouraged and loved on McKensie as she prepared to marry her best friend. As you will see from the photos, Drago wanted in on all of the festivities! It was almost as if he knew exactly what was happening when you see his constantly wagging tail and clinginess to his momma!

McKensie chose her mother’s beautiful earrings to wear on her own wedding day!

The absolute GLAM is all thanks to Makeup by Sheila. She had these ladies feeling “red carpet ready” in time to capture some of these fun pre-ceremony moments. Sheila was such a joy to work with!

Of course, we had to give Drago his moment to shine!!

Unfortunately, McKensie’s loving father recently passed away. Cameron honored McKensie’s late father by wearing his boots. This was a special moment to photograph as Cameron got ready. Cameron went as far as adding a custom zipper so he could fit into a boot that was a few sizes smaller than he is used to! Such a sweet gesture to honor the man who raised his new bride.

Another totally unplanned photo moment.. Cameron’s father and mother overcome with joy as they see their son dressed and ready to walk down the aisle! We’re so thankful to have spent time creating a timeline with their planner, Houston Soiree, which allowed for in-between moments like this to happen.

McKensie’s father was a collector of cars… The one seen below being one of his favorites, McKensie and Cameron chose to include this sleek sports car in a few of their portraits and use it as their getaway car at the end of the night!

The Ceremony

My jaw dropped when I saw the beautiful flowers arranged by Secret Floral Garden at the ceremony site! They created two beautiful archways, a lovely isle, and a reception space that was a site to remember!

Newlywed Portraits

We had the prettiest golden glow as the sun was setting! Now officially husband and wife, Cameron and McKensie were simply radiating. As you can see, Drago is also quite photogenic. He loved being part of their photos!

I don’t think I will ever be over that stunning veil! The pearls on McKensie’s veil paired with the bow on her dress were a recipe for elegance!

Wedding day celebration with the wedding party

While the property/main house has been in the family since 2001, the barn house was built just a few years ago. McKensie’s family regularly gathers at the family ranch to build beautiful memories together, and now they can add wedding reminiscing to the list of reasons to visit!

The Reception space

The Reception

Cocktail hour and the reception were a total success thanks to the incredible team of vendors, including but not limited to Monarch Event Rentals, The Undercover Band, Gulf Coast Entertainment, Royers Round Top Cafe, and LG Event Pro. As a Houston wedding photographer, these celebrations are so fun to be part of and capture!

Cameron’s sweet cousin was so excited to be invited to the dance floor during the mother/son dance. Her smile lit up the room!

Another fun addition to the reception was live painter, Jamie Wells. Guests enjoyed watching her work her magic as the painting came to life!

Bluebonnet seeds flew while Cameron and McKensie made their way through the path created by their closest friends and family members. They jumped in her father’s car, hugged their sweet mommas, and headed off for the night as sparklers lit the way!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. East! We love you both and pray you have a beautiful life together!
