We had the sweetest time with Javi and Cassie taking their engagement photos in Houston. These two are dear friends of ours! A few specific things that have always stood out to me is their gorgeous smiles and joyous personalities! They could walk into a dark room and instantly light it up with a simple “hello.”
Love at first sight
Javi loves Cassie fiercely. It is evident not only in the way he speaks to her, but also what he says about her when she isn’t there. You will never hear one negative thing come from his mouth about his “sweet Cassie Mae.” Javi and Cassie met online and instantly hit it off. Their connection was so strong, in fact, that just a few months after talking via phone, Cassie hopped on a plane and flew to Texas from Florida, where she was living, to surprise Javi at a CrossFit competition he was competing in.
Their love is the real deal, and it didn’t take long for Cassie to realize it. She packed up her things in Florida and moved to Texas to continuing pursuing her relationship with Javi. Since then, their love has only grown stronger!

A few months later, Javi arranged for some of their closest friends from several different states to travel down and be present as he got down on one knee to ask Cassie to marry him. Of course, it was an immediate “YES!”
I have no doubt that these two are going to have a beautiful, God-fearing marriage that changes the world! We laughed until our cheeks hurt as we took their engagement photos in Houston at Old Baylor Park. Javi and Cassie will have the wedding of their dreams so soon at the Brownstone Reserve in College Station, Texas, and we could not be more excited to celebrate them!
