Words will fall short, but I will do my best to take you through Brooke and Chad’s spectacular wedding day at the Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Details
We arrived a day early to kick off the wedding weekend by capturing all of the beautiful details, along with a sweet rehearsal dinner surrounded by Brooke & Chad’s loved ones at Joe T. Garicia’s Mexican Restaurant (which you may see on the blog soon). Taking time prior to the big day allows us to be creative with the details that help tell your wedding story! The stationary was designed by Brooke’s friend over at Bespoke Handlettering Co..
We cannot say enough wonderful things about this day at Hotel Drover. Despite the inconsistent weather (I joked that every time I opened the door, we were met with something different- rain, wind, sun, clouds, etc.), the day could not have run smoother. This is a reflection of the hard work that was put in leading up to the wedding day by all of the vendors, but specifically Anna of Twigs & Twine Events. She is communicative, professional, and so helpful! If you’re in search of a wonderful planner for your wedding day, I highly recommend Twigs & Twine Events.
A Bride & Her Bridesmaids
Brooke was surrounded by the most encouraging and supportive group of ladies! Already natural beauties, they made the The Styling Stewardess‘ job easy.
Brooke has a such a special relationship with her beautiful mom and sister! These are some of the sweet moments that I feel honored to capture.
Their smiles say it all; everyone was so excited to see Brooke as a bride! You can almost hear the cheering!
I have no words. Simply STUNNING.
I always love when the bridesmaids are dressed in a range of colors, patterns, and textures. It just elevates the look to another level! But of course, Brooke’s dream dress from Whittington Bridal stole the show! She is a radiant bride.
A Bride & Her Father
This is another moment I knew would be special to capture. It became difficult to see as tears filled our own eyes! In preparation for wedding days, we always send our couples a questionnaire so that we can be as ready as possible for all that is to come. One of the questions we ask is, “what are 3-5 most important moments to have photographed on your wedding day?”, to which Brooke responded the first look with her dad. As we build custom wedding day timelines, we ensure adequate time is set aside for moments of most importance to our couples.
A Groom & His Groomsmen
There was no shortage of humor amongst Chad and his groomsmen! Kyle spent the first part of the day hanging out with the guys and capturing all of their personalities as they got ready for the wedding at the Hotel Drover.
While the men looked sharp in their Mister Tuxedo attire, Chad’s sweet mom was there to put the finishing touches on the guys and ensure they were good to go!
As mentioned before, these guys know how to have a great time and kept everyone smiling!
Some brotherly love..
The First Touch
If you choose to not do a first look, we always recommend including a first touch! After a busy morning celebrating with just your girls (for the bride) and just your guys (for the groom), there’s nothing like having a few tender moments together before the ceremony begins. It often eases those butterflies and provides a sense of peace, while also giving you two the chance to share personal letters meant only for each other or pray together. That’s exactly what Chad and Brooke did!
The Ceremony
How gorgeous are these blooms from Blossoms on the Bricks?! Another wonderful vendor that went above and beyond by providing the most gorgeous arrangements for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding!
Brooke & Chad’s love is built on a foundation of the Gospel. Every interaction with them results in a feeling of JOY that can only be explained by their love for the Lord. Throughout the ceremony, Jesus was glorified. It was absolutely beautiful.
Brooke’s twin brother officiated their ceremony, which meant lots of personal stories, sweet moments, and jokes for all to enjoy.

The Wedding Party
Part of what made this wedding day so special was seeing how loved and celebrated Brooke & Chad are by their wedding party. Not to mention, they are a beautiful group!
Bride and Groom Portraits at Hotel Drover
Chad and Brooke were obviously so full of joy and excitement! They are officially husband and wife!! This is always a special time that we don’t rush through because we want our couples to take it all in and be in the moment. While wedding days are so much fun, you typically don’t have a whole lot of time with just the two of you. We do give some direction/guidance for portraits, but we really encourage our couples to just enjoy being together! Kiss if you want to kiss, hug if you want to hug, cry if you want to cry! Just be YOU.

The Reception
One more shoutout to Darla with Blossoms on the Bricks for doing a phenomenal job on the floral arrangements. The reception space was beautiful! Guests were spoiled with Hotel Drover’s wonderful catering, delicious coffee from Night Owl Coffee Cart, and of course, magnificent cake by Creme de la Creme.
We had to take advantage of the beautiful night life at Hotel Drover! Brooke & Chad spent a few minutes with us running down the street and around the hotel (after a quick dress change) capturing a few more sweet smiles and kisses!
The DJ or band can either make or break the dance floor… as you can see, Lance (My DFW DJ) didn’t just keep the dance floor alive.. it THRIVED. From the moment the dance floor opened to the final song, guests were out of their seats and having the best time!! If you’re looking for a fun and professional DJ for your upcoming wedding or event, Lance is your guy!
Brooke and Chad, thank you guys for trusting us to document this incredible day! We LOVED every minute of it!! We’re excited to see how Jesus works in and through your marriage. We love y’all!
