To describe this wedding in a word: FUN. From the wedding party to the vendor team! Edward and Claire were able to make the most of their wedding day at The Vine. If you want to know how to create a day you will want to remember forever, then let us tell you about this couple:
The first thing we noticed about what was going to make this such a fun day was the wedding party. Claire and Edward have some of the sweetest friends who clearly love them and were there to make the two of them feel supported and celebrated.
Next was Claire’s calm but confident demeanor. The Maggie Sottero dress from Coreena’s Bridal captured her poise with two beautiful skirt selections, which you will see later on! Choosing a dress you can feel free to be yourself in makes all the difference in those candid moments.
Let’s take a moment to admire the natural beauty brought out in these beautiful ladies, especially Claire’s crystal blue eyes, by Sunny Hair & Makeup. They were a wonderful team to work with and had everyone ready on time!
A First Look to Remember
First looks are a sure way to capture emotional moments you will never want to forget. Claire was able to spend a few precious moments with her dad before the busyness of the day really began.
Claire also chose to set aside time to share a first look with her grandfather, which had everyone in tears (us included!). Sweet interactions like these are what we look forward to most on your wedding day.
The First Touch
If you and your fiancé choose not to see each other until the ceremony, then a first touch is a great way to have one of the few undistracted moments with your soon to be spouse on your wedding day! Claire and Edward used this time to read private vows and pray together for their marriage.
The Ceremony
Edward had such a sweet and joyful reaction to seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle!

As mentioned before, Claire’s dress was unique in the fact that the skirt detaches to reveal a more playful dress for the reception! While Claire and Edward did not have a first look, she did get the chance to surprise him with her “second dress,” and his reaction was so great!
Newlywed Portraits
Sometimes intimacy can feel awkward in front of a camera (or several cameras), but with a little bit of guidance and a few jokes to loosen up, bride & groom portraits will quickly become your favorite part of your wedding day. After spending most of the day apart, this was Claire and Edward’s first chance to get close and soak up the reality of the day. Their smiles say it all!!
The Reception
With the collaboration of planner Epoch Co Events and florist Lyndsay Schobel, the reception space at The Vine was left in a stunning design!
One of the final things that makes a wedding fun is a great party. From the delicious cake and food, to the upbeat music, family and friends couldn’t help but get out on the dance floor!
When her drink of choice is an iced latte from Fellowship Coffee… my kind of bride!!
