Emiley and Ben’s wedding weekend was the perfect reflection of timeless elegance and heartfelt connection- from her thoughtfully styled Fort Worth bridal session to their lively rehearsal dinner at Billy Bob’s and their black-tie wedding day at Colonial Country Club. As a Dallas wedding photographer, it was an honor to capture each moment that so beautifully reflected who they are.
Fort Worth Bridals
Emiley had a clear vision for her bridals! Together, we brought that vision to life in a Fort Worth studio, where soft light and a minimalist backdrop allowed her natural beauty and elegant gown from Ivory Bridal Atelier to take center stage. These sessions are some of our favorites, offering space for brides to feel at ease in front of the camera and provide a trial run for hair, makeup, & florals.. and who wouldn’t want an additional opportunity to wear the dress of their dreams?!
The Rehearsal Dinner at Billy Bob’s
The celebrations began at Billy Bob’s, where family and friends gathered for an evening of laughter and heartfelt toasts. It was the perfect nod to Texas roots- relaxed, joyful, and full of personality- before stepping into a weekend of classic sophistication.
The Wedding Day
Ben spent the morning with his groomsmen at Top Golf before getting ready at the Omni Fort Worth, while Emiley and her bridesmaids were pampered at Colonial Country Club by the talented team from The Styling Stewardess.
On the wedding day, Emiley and Ben exchanged vows at the architecturally stunning Marty Leonard Chapel. The soft light through the chapel’s geometric windows framed their ceremony perfectly!
The chapel was adorned with lush arrangements of greenery and white roses from TWE Floral, their soft fragrance filling the air as Forte Strings DFW played.
A single white rose was placed on a seat reserved in loving memory of Ben’s mom — a quiet, beautiful tribute. Before the ceremony, Emiley gifted Ben a keychain holding a photo of him with his mom, with a matching one tied to her bouquet, symbolizing her presence throughout the day.
After exchanging heartfelt vows, guests made their way to Colonial Country Club, where candlelight and stunning florals transformed the space into a glowing, romantic setting.
Guests were greeted by elegant details: custom napkins inscribed with handwritten notes from Emiley and Ben and a personalized chainstitching station by Fowl and Maker that offered one-of-a-kind keepsakes.
The couple also shared a private cake-cutting moment, savoring their favorite cakes from Central Market and Great American Cookie before rejoining guests for a toast and dancing!
The night came alive as Midtown 10, the incredible live band from Emerald City Presents, took the stage, bringing unforgettable entertainment! At times, the band joined guests on the dance floor, creating an atmosphere that was electric!
